Reflection

              Reflection is thinking for an extended period by linking recent experiences to earlier ones in order to promote a more complex and interrelated mental schema. The thinking involves looking for commonalities, differences, and interrelations beyond their superficial elements. The goal is to develop higher order thinking skills. I never knew why days so fast, we are now already in third grading period which only means that graduation is near. We only have one period left.

             

                Every day had passed, we learned a lot of knowledge's. Every grading period we learned different topics. In 4^th grading in I.C.T, we learned the learned how to edit a photo in adobe photoshop. We also learned the difference use of its tools. And our teacher gave us some activities to challenge or measure if he had learned in that grading. 

              

                For me, managing our time is the most encountered problems. Because once you don't  have enough time to do it, you're rushing on time. 

                Moving on, I will make my activities on time for me not to rush everything and I will managing my time wisely.

My Dream, My Future

What is dream? Dreams are successions of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that occur involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not definitively understood, though they have been a topic of scientific speculation, as well as a subject of philosophical and religious interest, throughout recorded history. The scientific study of dreams is called neurology. 

My dream is to become a professional policewomen. It is important to me because becoming a policewomen is my father wants and I want to continue his dream. To reach my dream I will take my training well and I will study hard. It will most probably be hard work but achieving our goal is also probably hard work. Whenever I see some policewomen and I'm inspired to continue what my dream is and what I want. Whenever I see my father and my mother it gives me a great sense of achievement and there is nobody in this world that doesn't like succeeding. The thing I like most about my popped balloon is that it kind of represents the way I feel sometimes. Whenever I’m frustrated and I feel like my world is falling apart like the pieces of the balloons. But then I usually calm down and everything is okay.

There are times when you fail but you have to get up and try again and again until you succeed. So don’t lose hope in achieving your dream. All of us had the chance to become success in future.

Change: It Starts With Me

              All of us had the chance to change. Nothing is permanent in this world. Change is to become something else.  Change occurs in many different forms and is carried out in many different ways. There are elements to change, yes, but change doesn't have to occur over a single dramatic event. It can just happen overnight when your brain determines it's time to do something different. Others, however think that change is always a good thing.

Change starts with us. Take responsibility with your actions, sayings, thoughts and others. Because this is important in achieving our goal, like, to change. In order to make a change, you have to want to do it. Be responsibly if you decided to make a change in yourself. So take responsibility seriously. To be responsible means to be a source or cause. 

             

             A lot of people want the world to be an improved place, and in order to accomplish that goal, they need to believe they can do it. To be the change you want to see in the world means to be responsible for your actions. So let’s make a change today, even if we do it one by one, we can all make a different because life’s short, so let’s make it better by living in it and trying to change it. You don’t have to be some famous leader to make a change. Just take one step at a time. Try making a change every day, even if it’s not a huge one. 

Insight: Ylocos Kannawidan Festival

                
              On the 30th day of January 2015 happens the opening of 8th year of Kannawidan Festival. Kannawidan Ylocos Festival 2015 goes full blast with the traditional opening ritual led by the indigenous people of Ilocos Sur together with Gov. Ryan Singson and other local officials. The festival showcases the rich heritage, tradition, culture, arts, crafts and delicacies of Ilocos Sur.

              The province has a rich heritage and unique cultures that need to be preserved for the next generations. However, many of these traditions, songs, dances and other Ilocano cultures were not already familiar to the younger generations due to the influence of the television, computer and internet. through the  Kannawidan Ylocos Festival, these traditions, customs and cultures are revived to become more entertaining to give more fun and attractions to the visiting tourists in the province and also in Vigan. And in connection of Kannawidan festivals, there are some activities and events that will happen. Some artist’s we’re going to celebrate with us like, Ruru Madrid, Mariel Rodriguez, Gabby Eigenmann, and many more. Saniata of Ilocos Sur is also the most awaited event. “Saniata ti Ylocos,” is the local beauty pageant contest. All town of Ilocos Sur had their candidates.

              This Kannawidan Ylocos Festival aims to create awareness on the preservation of the province’ rich cultural heritage, practices and traditions, and a showcase of the different agriculture and industry products. We, Ilocanos should all be proud of with this because we are having this for tourists to appreciate our rich culture. Moreover, let us all preserve these cultures for next generations and this will serve as our trademark as an Ilocano.

In third grading in I.C.T, we learned the different HTML Links and also the Microsoft Front Page. We also learned how to make a HTML Files. And our teacher gave us some activities to challenge or measure if he had learned in that grading. 

For me, managing our time is the most encountered problems. Because once you don't  have enough time to do it, you're rushing on time. And it's hard to divide the time on making it.

  Strong people don't give up easily and put their self-down. Managing our time is the best solution and that is the one who helped me in overcoming those difficulties.

Moving on, I will manage my time wisely.

New Year, New Life!

             
              Five, four, three, two, one... Happy New Year! December 31^st, we were preparing for the most awaited New Year. New Year, my favorite holiday, is one of the most celebrated days in the world. The day is shaped by different customs and traditions. Each culture celebrates this holiday in its own unique way.

The people start to prepare for the holiday at least one month in an advance. The preparation begins by buying presents, decorating houses, and making new costumes. Obviously the holiday would not be complete without a symbol of New Year which transcended from generation to generation. The people start to prepare for the holiday at least one month in an advance. Obviously the holiday would not be complete without a symbol of New Year which transcended from generation to generation. The New Year which is one of the exciting things for children and adults is the celebration that you can see in every house during the holiday. The whole family takes participation in decorating a house, with toys, candies and different New Year’s lights.

Essence of Christmas

               
               Christmas. A christian holiday that is celebrated on December 25 in honor of the birth of Jesus Christ or the period that comes before and after his holiday. For you, what is the true essence of Christmas? 

               To me Christmas means a time to spend with family and a time for Santa to come. It also means a time to give to others. A time to give, but also to receive. At Christmas I think of big family dinners. I think of just spending time with my family. We decorate the house and Christmas tree together. For me, the true essence of Christmas is giving and sharing for everyone. People giving gifts and exchanging cards. I believe that Christmas is truly in our hearts. And one of the essence of Christmas is being complete with your family. 

                We should share our blessings although its not Christmas. Learn to give something to others. We should not be selfish. Learn to give, to share, and to love. Give love on Christmas day!
